Kat Von D Project Chimp Everlasting Liquid Lipstick

I've already reviewed KVD's everlasting liquid lipsticks before, so I'm not going in depth about this one since the formula is the same. This is a new and limited edition color called Project Chimp. 20% of each sale goes to the charity of helping retired/older chimps back to nature/sanctuary. This color is a warm red with some brown in it which I guess you can call it a warm brick red. It's very flattering and it's pretty much a universal red for everyone. It's also quite perfect for the Fall and the holidays that are coming up:) This is also Vegan and Cruelty-free!!!

SUPER-LIMITED EDITION: Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in “Project Chimps”
Save the chimps, one perfect red lipstick at a time! Kat created this exclusive shade to benefit a cause very near to her heart—ending animal testing. For every Project Chimps Limited Edition lipstick sold, 20% of the retail price will go to Project Chimps, a nonprofit organization that has worked to stop the use of chimps in private biomedical research and retire them to a sanctuary. With limited edition packaging and a warm brick red shade, this collectible lipstick is flattering on all skintones, so everyone can rock it and support the cause!

THE life-proof lipstick that will not wear off! Yes, you can eat, drink, make up, break up and mouth-off knowing your lips are gonna stay flawless through it all!
In 28 to-die-for shades, this creamy formula glides over lips like a gloss and sets to a true matte finish. Along with 24-hour wear and high-pigment color, the next-generation formula is packed with natural moisturizers, including Vitamin E and Sunflower Seed Wax. All-day wear has never felt so comfortable!
Live happily Everlasting!

Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick in Witches

I recently purchased another shade from the Kat Von D's everlasting liquid lipstick line for Hallween purpose from Sephora. This is Witches, and it's a pitch black liquid to matte liquid lipstick. It retails for $20, and it's not as opaque as I would like it to be. It can be built up to a pitch black opaque finish, but normally I don't have to do that with any of her other liquid lipsticks. I was hoping for one swipe full pigmentation opaque color payoff, but this is quite thin formulated liquid lipstick compare to something like Stila. I had to return it, and I might try either LA Splash or Makeupmonsters' black liquid lipsticks instead. I do like KVD's liquid lipsticks though, but just not so much for this particular one.

What it is:
A long-wear, full-coverage liquid lipstick with a smooth, matte finish.

What it does:
Now with 16 additional, bold shades of Everlasting Liquid Lipstick for all-night wear, this innovative formula gives lips long-lasting wear and high-pigment color. Its creamy, color-rich formula glides over lips like a gloss but dries to a true matte finish. It’s infused with natural comfort-enhancing ingredients, including vitamin E and sunflower seed so you can flaunt lasting matte color that leaves lips feeling comfortable.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens

What else you need to know:
You know what they say about Lolita. On some, she’s the perfect rosy nude. On others, she’s a deep, dramatic mauve. Some of you noticed that your new Lolita looked more brown than usual as a result of a manufacturer error. Since then, the shade has been corrected, so from now on, all Lolitas purchased will be the perfect dusty rose we all know and love. Want to see a different side of Lolita? Look for her rosier alter ego, Lolita II, coming soon.

BeautyTip:
Cleanse, brighten, and hydrate lips before lipstick application with Ole Henriksen The Clean Truth™ Cleansing Cloths: Brightening.

Kat Von D Lolita Lip Duo

Kat Von D released this mini everlasting liquid lipsticks duo set at Sephora. I was curious to try the Lolita II that is limited to this set only. After trying it out, I really hope she can release this Lolita II shade as a permanent full size product. I love it so much more than the now Lolita I. I still have the original Lolita I in full size, and the color is so much prettier than the now Lolita I. This set is $19 right now, and I am praying for her to make Lolita II a permanent shade in her everlasting liquid lipstick line.

What it is:
A limited-edition, exclusive, mini lip duo featuring Kat Von D’s covetable Lolita shade and brand-new Lolita II Liquid Lipsticks.

What it does:
Discover Kat Von D’s iconic shade that revamped the classic, neutral lip—along with a brighter version for a bolder look. These mini Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks include the most wanted lip color, Lolita, in the hard-to-find original chestnut rose, and Lolita II, in a terra cotta nude hue. Formulated to give you long-lasting wear and high-pigment color, the creamy, color-rich lipsticks glide on to lips like a gloss and dry to a true matte finish. Their next-level formula is infused with natural, comfort-enhancing ingredients—including vitamin E and sunflower seed wax—so you can flaunt an everlasting matte color that leaves lips feeling comfortable.

This set contains:
- 2 x 0.10 oz Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita (chestnut rose), Lolita II (terra cotta nude)

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Phthalates

What else you need to know:
If Lolita’s deep chestnut rose isn’t your style, try Lolita II—it’s gorgeous on warmer skintones. Everlasting Liquid Lipstick is 100 percent vegan. Kat Von D Beauty never tests on animals and never will.

When swatched side by side, Lolita I is much darker and has more pinky brown tone. Whereas Lolita II is a warmer peachy terra-cotta shade that is flattering on everyone, and perfect for the Fall. So if she's going to make this permanent, she better make it happen NOW!

Lolita I

Lolita II

Below is a comparison of the original Lolita I on the far right side. Lolita II is the middle shade here. The original Lolita I is much more pink and softer than the new Lolita I which is almost purplish and grey.

I'm really not a fan of the newer Lolita I because it's so much more dull compared to the old original color. However, I love Lolita II, but my tube's stopper doesn't work, and I got tons of excessive product gushing out of the tube that I had to return this set. Like I said, I'm just going to wait until she release Lolita II as a permanent shade so I can get a full sized one.

Update: I purchased the full sized Lolita II as soon as it's released on Sephora.com. It's so pretty, and I realized the formula is not as long wearing as it used to be. Not sure what happened, but I still love the shade and how comfortable it's on the lips.
