Pony Effect Stayfit Matte Lip Colour

I purchased these Pony Effect Stayfit Matte lip colours from Memebox when they had the new products promo deals. They were bundled into two per set, and was $18.50. The retail price for each individual ones was $16/18. I do apologize if I forget the actual retail price since Memebox doesn't sell this product anymore. I hope it's only because it's out of stock or maybe Pony makeup is revamping her brand or something. You can check out Pony's official makeup website, but it doesn't sell any products, and the only official seller that still carries this product is 11st which is a korean online shopping website. I never purchased through them so I can't give you any comment, and if you do purchase through that page, you might get charged for international shipping/duty fees. Maybe ebay sells these? I'm not sure. I hope Memebox sells these again because I do like the formula. They are thick like the Stila liquid lipsticks but in a more thick gel consistency. They feel really nice and comfortable. Once they dry down to a completely matte and transfer proof finish, they become lightweight and powdery(velvety not sticky). They wear pretty nicely throughout the day. The only one that I have major problem with is #Fantastic. It's patchy and uneven. It's frustrating because it's the perfect deep red/burgundy shade I was looking for in a comfortable liquid matte formula. I really wish it wouldn't be so streaky. Other than that, all the rest of the three shades are opaque and beautiful! The colors are all very vibrant and saturated. They have a light fruity scent which is very similar to most Korean lip products, and I much prefer this to heavy vanilla scent. Please see the close up swatches down below. I get solid 8 hours of wear time if I don't eat anything greasy. At around 4/5th hour, my lips do get a little bit dry feeling, but nothing uncomfortable and way better than most of the liquid to matte lipsticks that are out there on the market these days.

Smashbox Liquid Lipstick in Out Loud

New Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick retails for $24, and contains 0.13fl.oz product. You can purchase this at Sephora, Smashbox.com, Macys, and maybe Ulta as well.

What it is:
An eight-hour wear, liquid-matte lipstick with a featherweight, comfortable formula that stays put and keeps color looking as fresh and flawless as the first swipe.

What it does:
Perfected on-set in Smashbox’s L.A. photo studio, Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick leaves lips with ultra-lightweight, but bold color. This liquid-matte formula is infused with the lip-smoothing Smashbox Primer Oil complex for suede-soft lip color in an array of gorgeous, highly pigmented shades. The precision tip applicator lines and fills with one swipe of the no-drop reservoir, while Advanced Polymer Technology makes lip color stay put and look fresh and flawless for up to eight hours for smudge-proof, budge-proof, and non-feathering, carefree wear.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Phthalates

What else you need to know:
Bawse is a collaboration between famed YouTube megastar Lilly Singh and Smashbox. Singh inspires us to be our most empowered, beautiful selves. Smashbox embodied her bold spirit into every swipe of her signature matte red shade.

Studio tip: "With a bold lip, a lighter lip line makes your pout appear fuller. Use Smashbox BB Cream Eyes to line around the edges and cupid’s bow for a precise pop or quick touch-up."—Lori Taylor Davis, Global Pro Lead Artist

At least it's not 24 hours claim, so I'm ok with the honest 8-hour long wearing time. It actually can last longer if you don't eat too much oily food. I've sat through a dinner at my friend's eating rice and beans, avocado slices, and fried chicken. Most of the lip color still remained except for the center parts of my lips.

It's pretty much as it claims as an always on liquid lipstick, well, at least majority of the time:)

I'm not a fan of any type of twistable packaging that's in a rectangular/square shape because it kind of hurts my hand/fingers as I twist open it. Aside from that, this packaging is quite straightforward and sleek. I like the matte black finish on the cap. The clear and thick acrylic bottom portion allows you to see the color of the product right off the bat.

I love this applicator! It's diamond shaped with a point end so it provides great precision. The little hole in the middle collects just enough product for you to apply all over your lips without double dip into the container. We all know the rule about double dipping, right? :DDD The applicator is also soft and has a little bit flexibility in it so you have good control while using it.

This is a gorgeous burnt orange color! It has a hint of brown in it which makes it very unique and different from all the other burnt orange colors I have in my collection. I will have a separate blog dedicate to all of my burnt orange colored lipsticks/liquid lipsticks. That way, you can kind of see the different tones in each one of them, but this is by far my favorite one!
After this dried down, it became completely matte, but not 100% transfer-proof. You will see this transfer onto food and cups. Very minimum transfer though!
I absolutely love this color, and will pick up more shades once Smashbox has some kind of sale:D They are pretty pricey, you know. I posted this on my instagram as one of the month long #selfiewithlipswatch project, and a lot of people loved it. My childhood friend even commented about how it's very flattering on me. I love this kind of burnt orange shade, and this one in particular just looks very nice on me:) But, I think this kind of color looks awesome on everyone!

After I ate lunch, and color still remained. The worn part wasn't super noticeable so that's nice.
After eating, most color remained, but only wore off a little bit in the center of the lips. However, the dry and flaky parts of my lips were more noticeable. My lips didn't feel super dry, but not hydrated, either. I didn't feel the need of licking my lips or anything, but it's not as super comfortable as I initially applied it.

Mellow Cosmetics Lipstick and lip paints

After watching Shaaanxo's review and swatch video of the Mellow cosmetics' matte lipstick and liquid lip paint, I decided to give this brand a try, and I was not disappointed. This company is based and developed in New Zealand, but manufactured in China. Free shipping to US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand when you purchase over $40. They do have other makeup products for face and eyes as well. I'm in love with this brand's lipstick and liquid lipstick. I used her coupon code and saved a bunch, but it's expired by now. I remember seeing Mellow cosmetics featured in Ipsy glam bags as well, so maybe Ipsy offers coupon code for this makeup brand. Ipsy May glam bag included two shades from Mellow's matte lipstick line, but I didn't get one. I am glad that I got one to try for myself, and I like the formula of it. The ultra matte lipstick ($13USD)comes in a bullet packaging that looks the same as a MAC lipstick, except that the Mellow lipstick has a beige and gold finish instead of black and silver. I think it's quite sleek and chic but classic and sophisticated. The formula is a super matte finish but soft and velvet on the lips. Not much tugging while applying, and remains comfortable on the lips throughout the day. It has a perfume type of vanilla scent which is not that great, but not very noticeable once on the lips. I got the shade Nude, and it's a pinky mauve color that will look nice on everyone. The matte liquid lip paints($14USD) are awesome! I got three shades to try. Two of them because of their names which I explained in my video review, and one because the shade was beautiful. All the colors are very beautiful and wearable from this line. They have a decent shade selection, but what impresses me the most is the formula of their liquid lipstick. It does dry completely matte, and yet goes on silky smooth. It's on the liquid side in terms of formula wise. It is not 100% transfer proof so maybe that's why it's a little bit more long wearing than some of the other ones on the market.  I don't really mind with the little transferring because longevity in a liquid lipstick is more important. It stays on very comfortable and weightless throughout the entire day. I don't have to retouch unless I eat something super greasy. I've sat through a lunch with dim sum and oily stir fried noodles, the lipstick still remained intact. I only had to retouch it after eating a hotpot meal, and if you ever had hotpot, you will know the amount of oil and greasy involved in the food/dipping sauce. I am blown away by this liquid lipstick, and I absolutely love the colors I picked up! Tehran is my favorite nude, and it's perfect. Shanghai is a little bit darker, and New York is a gorgeous wine shade. I will definitely recommend these to anyone out there looking for a comfortable and long wearing matte liquid lipstick as well as regular matte lipstick. These are priced at a middle price range comparing to KVD/JS/Stila. I think they are totally worth their prices, and make sure to follow them on social media in case a sale happens.

Nude - pinky mauve

Shanghai - mid tone brownish nude

This lip paint does transfer a little bit, but it's pretty long wearing and very comfortable!

Guess I didn't shake/mix this one enough because you can see the oil and pigments separation here in my swatch.
Tehran - soft brownish nude *my favorite nude*
This color stays on my lips the longest, and the color wears off nicely since it's like my lips but better type of shade.

New York - classic berry wine color

1st try after eating really oily Thai food.
2nd try after eating pho.
