Black Moon Cosmetics Libra and Harvest Liquid Lipsticks

Black Moon Cosmetics is an indie company that sells liquid lipsticks only at this moment. There were originally four shades when the company first emerged onto the social media scene. I followed their instagram page, and saw some reviews on youtube. Then four more shades came out, and I decided to give this brand a try since liquid lipstick trend is still going strong. I really love the packaging on this brand's liquid lipsticks. The tubes are very similar to the Jeffree Star(0.19oz for $18), Dose of Colors(0.16oz for $18), and Makeup Monster's(0.20oz for $15.95), but it's in a black gradient type of finish. What I love about it is that the bottom portion is still clear so you can see the actual color. Each Black Moon liquid lipstick contains 0.20oz for $18. I got the shades Libra and Harvest.

After initial application, these are rich and creamy in texture. They are comfortable to wear, but you can definitely feel like you are wearing something on your lips.
After they dried down to a completely matte finish, but not 100% transfer free.
Under direct sunlight, they looked even more beautiful and vibrant!
Libra is a beautiful universal flattering nude that's quite neutral in my opinion because it has some pink and peach in it.
Harvest is a gorgeous bright orange/terracotta red. It's pretty appropriate for Fall/Harvest season because it makes you think of pumpkin and burnt tones in leaf color.

NYX lip lingerie liquid lipsticks in Exotic and Ruffle Trim

I purchased these from CVS during it's buy one get one half off sale. They were $6.99 each. This line of liquid lipsticks are all "nudes" which range from the palest nude to the deepest nude that are suitable for all complexions. I got Ruffle Trim and Exotic because they seem a bit warm toned to me, and I usually gravitates toward warmer nudes. Personally, I think warmer nudes are more suitable for my NC20 skintone.

Each tube contains 4ml of products which is less than majority of the liquid lipsticks out there. However, the price and the availability of this product make it a nice alternative to a lot of the other liquid lipsticks. You can find these at your local CVS, Target, Ulta, or NYX website.
Ruffle Trim is a warm peachy nude color.

I don't like the applicator though. It's a long skinny plastic spatula type which has no flexibility, and hard to apply.

Exotic is a mid toned rosy nude. I really love this shade!

After initial application.
After they dried down to completely matte finishes. They feel a bit tacky/sticky on the lips which provide longer wear time, but they are not completely transfer free.
I had to compare them to the Kat Von D's Lolita I and Lolita II as well as my favorite NYX soft matte lip cream in Cannes. The two swatches on the left side of the picture are the very first batch/original KVD Lolita I and the newest Lolita II. Although they are quite similar, you can see the differences. The top swatch on the right side of the picture is NYX soft matte lip cream in Cannes. This is the very first lip product I've ever finished, and bought a second tube. It's not completely matte, but rather satin finish on the lips, and it's much brighter and pinker than the two NYX lingerie liquid lipsticks below. I'm sure I have some other dupes to these two colors, and I will have a separate blog dedicate to all the nude liquid lipsticks in my collection for comparisons.
Overall, I think these NYX lingerie liquid lipsticks are very affordable and readily available for purchase for everyone. They don't feel super dry on the lips, but are one of the dryer formulas out there. They are pretty long wearing, and almost transfer free. They don't have a scent, and the texture is more of a cream.

Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer, Eye Booster Ergonomic Eyeliner, Instant Doll Lash Extension Kit

These are available in major drugstores such as CVS, Duane Reade, Walgreens, and Rite Aid. They are also available on Physicians Formula's official website

The sponge is pretty horrible, and I wouldn't recommend using it.

This bronzer is very soft and subtle. It's more suitable for fair to light complexion. It's very smooth and blends out effortlessly.
I have MAC NC20 complexion, and this bronzer only adds a little bit warmth to my skin. Anyone deeper than NC20 won't be able to use this as a bronzer. It might work as a very soft highlighter on deeper complexion, and an all over powder for medium/olive skintones.

I really don't see the point of this besides the fact that it fits nicely in the hand. It's smaller than regular pen styled liners so it's nice for purse/pocket on-the-go type of thing. Other than that, I still prefer the original eye booster serum eyeliner.

Since the felt tip doesn't have a super sharp point like traditional felt tip pen eyeliners, it's a bit difficult to get a precise and sharp flick. Also, the felt tip on this eyeliner doesn't have much flexibility so again, it's actually harder to line against the lashes.

I applied the combo to one eye first to see the difference. This kit is amazing! I looked like I was wearing false lashes, and I don't like to wear falsies. This combo takes a while to build, but I think it's about the same amount of time to applying a pair of false lashes with a coat of mascara. I'd rather use this instead of false lashes because it's much harder to apply falsies.
The side view of my lashes after using the lash extension kit. I got the Instant Doll Lash kit, and there's an original lash extension kit which came out before this one that has a different mascara wand. This kit builds great length to my lashes, and thickens them. It definitely volumizes my lashes and holds curls.
I mean, come on! This is insane!
The comparison of one eye with the kit, and one without is very noticeable.

Then I applied the kit onto the other eye, and voila!

The coolest thing is that it's weightless so I don't feel uncomfortable.
One thing to be concerned is the fall out of the 2nd step lash fibers. Since it's a black fiber verses the usual white fiber, it's a bit more noticeable once it's on your face. I experienced fallout throughout the day on my cheeks, so it's better to tap off the excess before applying them as I showed in my video. It's also VERY important not to apply the fibers close to the roots of your lashes because once they get into your eyes, your eyes BURN!!! I accidentally applied a little bit too close to my eye on one side, and that eye was irritated throughout the whole day. Not cool:/ Be very careful when applying the fibers, and apply the wand from the middle of your lashes outward. Remember, not at the base/root of your lashes!
I seriously felt like a doll the whole day while wearing this lash extension kit on my eyes. I freaking love it! It takes a lot of patience to apply them, but once it's on, it lasts all day! You will notice very minimum fibers fallout if you carefully tap off the excess during application. The result is absolutely amazing!
