I was inspired by this makeup look because of the fun soft golden beige glitter eyeliner paired with a bright traffic cone shades of orange. I like the fact that Miley's makeup has been quite simple but young and fun at the same time. She always has these spiky eyes wide lashy look that I love without using false lashes. I for one, do not like to wear false eyelashes, unless I need to do a dramatic/Halloween type of look. I'm not so blessed with beautiful lashes like her, but I try my best to achieve it by constantly testing out mascaras. The L'Oreal miss manga mascara really works in this case, but I had to re-curl my lashes in order to get that curled effect. However, I don't really recommend curling lashes after mascara, so if you need that extra lifted look, you can use a heated lash curler or hold and press your finger against the lashes for few seconds instead. Anyways, according to her makeup artist, the top layer is MAC lip mix in orange. I believe it's a lot more yellower and sort of pumpkin toned than my OCC lip tar in beta. I think if you are bold enough to rock either, that's awesome. If you are not into the whole neon thing, opt for something that's a bit more sheer like an orange tinted lip balm or an orangey red lip color. I think this is a great look for party, girls night out, or fun date. The soft golden glitter eyeliner is such a fresh twist on the dreaded black winged eye look. I don't think I have done a look with black winged eyeliner in years except for the most recent Grammy makeup tutorials since most of the celebrities were wearing it. I personally don't have the time to do that, and if I do, I usually use an eyeshadow, a pencil liner, or colors other than black. I mean there are so many fun colors around for us to play with, why keep adding the same old black winged liner to every single look? Unless that's your signature/staple everyday look, but definitely experiment with different colors if you don't like to wear the same makeup looks everyday:) Hope you enjoy this makeup!

Lady Gaga's 2015 Oscar Makeup look
So I filmed this tutorial on the very day of the Oscars, and not knowing what all the celebrities look like. FYI, I didn't watch the award ceremony. It's becoming redundant to me, but I am still more into the beauty and gowns. I saw a picture of Scarlett Johansson back when she first attended the Academy Awards, and you can see the picture below that became my interest of trying to recreate the look.
I added the metallic red lip color from Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Adora on the center of my lips to give that metallic sheen, but I didn't include it in my video because Lady Gaga didn't have that. Gaga also didn't have that warm coppery shade on her lower lash line like Scarlett had as you can see from the picture below comparing with the one on top.
I think Gaga's look is definitely more dramatic and bold with the false lashes and the red lips. Scarlett's look is a lot more fresh and youthful. Gaga has a little less blush on her cheeks. Gaga's pink eyeshadow is also more shimmery, and Scarlett's pink is more matte finish. Also, Gaga's lip color is more glossy and brighter. Both red lips have a nice soft edge, and Gaga's cupid's bow is more defined here. Either way, I liked both, and I think it's a nice day to night look. All you need is a pair of thick lashes and bolder red lip color:)
