Jessie's Girl Cosmetics from Rite Aid
Jessie's Girl cosmetics are sold either on their website or exclusively at Rite Aid pharmacy. I found out about this brand through JulieG as she developed her own line of nail polish with them. She also did few makeup tutorials featuring their products. I really love her nail polishes with Jessie's Girl, and I had to try their makeup products when I finally spot them in one of the Rite Aid pharmacies in the city. This line is quite inexpensive compared to other drugstore brands such as L'Oreal and Revlon, and the quality is really good. The price ranges are similar to NYC, Wet n' Wild, and Black Radiance. I like how the pencils come with sharpeners in their caps for convenience. Although the pencils are not as creamy as some liners from the drugstore, for the low prices they are still decent qualities. I especially love their loose eyeshadows as you can see I picked out quite few even though I just missed their buy one get one half off sale. Nonetheless, I had to buy them just in case they sell out the next time I go there. The loose eyeshadows are about $3.99/$4.99 each which is really affordable, and the colors are so gorgeous. A lot of the loose shadows from this brand have duo chrome effect, and you can apply them wet or dry. They go on smooth and pigmented. You also get full 2.5g of product in each jar. Definitely check out this brand of makeup if you have a Rite Aid near you, and JulieG's nail polishes with Jessie's Girl are a must try/buy!!!
LIT Glitters
I purchased the LIT glitter kit from 2012 NY IMATS. This company is based in Canada, and the owner as well as the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There are different size cuts glitters as well as textures within each shade range from fine (solid size 1) to chunky (solid size 4), and shimmers to solids to metallics to electrics. The most popular sizes are probably the solid sizes 2 and 3. If you go to their website, http://www.litcosmetics.com (by the way, I believe they ship worldwide), you will be directed to a very clearly laid out catalog filled with their glitters categorized with colors. The retail price for individual glitters are $12.95 each. The website also sells different kits which usually come with their famous glitter base, brush, glitter duster, and your choices of glitters. The price varies based on how many glitters you want to include within the kit. I really like their website because everything is well presented and not confusing at all. Every glitter has it's description of the color, sizes, and textures. They have two types of glitter base. One is the regular Clear Liquid Glitter Base that has blue letters written on the bottle, and the other one is water resistant but does not sell on the website. I think I got the mini water resistant one for free from IMATS as one of their trade show specials. I also got a nice price on the kit and glitters I got at the IMATS. I bought the five glitter bundle kit that came with all the other items for free, and I basically just paid $10 each for the glitters. They also offered a code for a free glitter with any future purchase on their website so it was a nice touch. These are really easy to work with since the glitter base is clear and becomes tacky after you put it on for a while. The duster is a pretty neat idea to get rid off glitters, but takes a bit time to get used to it. I still like to remove mine either with a clean brush or makeup wipes. If you are into glitters and shimmers, this company has all the glitz and glam you want! It can be a little overwhelming when you see all of them in person, but like I said, the website is very easy and helpful for you to get the glitters you look for. I highly recommend getting one of their kits if you've never tried their base before, and besides it's just a better deal when you buy them as a bundle so you can save more!
