Wet n' Wild coloricon eyeshadow palette in 738 Comfort Zone

Retail at Walgreens: $4.99
Hard to find palette out of all three 8 shadow palettes. Grace from Cosmeticcouturier recommended this, and did beautiful tutorials using it. Check out her Youtube channel Cosmeticcouturier for cruelty free and vegan friendly products and tutorials!

beautiful shimmery nudes and green/olives. Although all the shades in this palette are shimmer finish, they go on smoothly with rich pigmentation from single swipe. If you are not into shimmer/metallic finish, this might not be for you. However, it is great for adding that pop of glow/light with these either on the inner corner of the eyes, center of the lids, or highlighting the brow bones. The one most important reason for me to pick up this particular palette is because of that last definer shade which is a duo chrome of brown and metallic teal. It is so beautiful, and it is also similar to Too Faced exotic color intense single eyeshadow in Petals to the Metal, Too Faced Label Whore,  Urban Decay single eyeshadow in Lounge, L'Oreal HiP shocking shadow pigment in 914 Intrepid, MAC Club, as well as a Lorac shadow from it's multiplex 3D eyeshadow palette. These shadow do have a bit fall out, but a synthetic flat brush or tapping off the excess before placing can help. Really love this palette, and it is a much cheaper nude palette with smokey defined colors. They also come in two other palettes which are more blues and purples. I love this one the most!

New Wet n' Wild megashield lipcolor spf15 in 371S It's a Girl

Retails at Walgreens: $1.99. I bought one with instant $1 off, so I paid 99 cents for it.

This is almost like a gloss lipstick which is totally different from the mega lipstick that came out last year that was creamy matte formula. I got the shade 371S It's a Girl, and it is a gorgeous rosy pink color. This lipstick goes on smooth. Unlike the Mega lipstick, this one feels light on the lips and is very creamy. It is very pigmented just like the mega lipsticks. However, I do not find this long lasting like the mega lipstick. It is probably because of it's texture and density is much lighter than the other one. It is glossy, and the color is build-able. This shade has a hint of pearl/shimmer to it.

I like that this lipstick offers SPF15 in it, and given the color range from this collection, they are more suited for Spring/Summer. I really like this shade, but these lipsticks are not forgiven when it comes to dry/flakey lips. I put it on the other day when my lips were kind of dry, and it pronounced all the flakey spots on my lips which was not flattering at all. I suggest exfoliate lips thoroughly before putting this one on. They will look much better, and the color choices are great. If you want to save more on these lipsticks, make sure grab the ones with instant $1 off stickers on the tubes. Use that at the register to save you extra $1, so you can have more bang out of your buck:)

Orly Ridgefiller Smoothing Primer Basecoat

Retails at Ricky's: $6.99. I bought it on sale for $3.99

milky white color basecoat
Dries to a sheer foggy semi-clear matte color on nails with one coat. It creates a smooth surface, and allows the nail color to go on without streaking. Feels lightweight on nails, and easy to remove with regular nail polish remover. I've only used it twice so far, and it helps nails without being stained by dark polishes. I still see a little bit yellowing on my nails, and not sure whether it's from the basecoat or from the remover. I do change my polish quite often. As often as every two days or so. This is a pretty decent primer basecoat. Make sure wait until it dries, and then layer on with color nail polish.

nail inc london Special effects 3D glitter nail polish in Connaught Square

 Retails at Sephora: $9.50
This brand is based in UK and it is popular for it's wide range of funky bright fun nail polishes. The latest invention is the Magnetic nail polish which I have not tried yet. However, the unique thing about this particular 3D glitter nail polish is that it has different sizes of glitters as well as different color. For instance, this shade in Connaught Square contains fine cobalt blue glitters and irregular shaped purple glitters in a clear base. I applied two coats on top of a deep purple/navy polish. I like how this adds dimensions to the nail color, and the result is a much smoother surface unlike some other chunky glitter polishes leave behind. There are other ones: Bloomsbury Square 3D Glitter
(clear with purple glitter and chunky red glitter), Fitzroy Square 3D Glitter
(clear with green glitter and chunky teal glitter), and Sloane Square 3D Glitter
(clear with silver glitter and chunky iridescent glitter).

wet n' wild baked palettes

Retailed at Walgreens: $4.99
These were limited edition for Holidays from last year, but I did not see them in Walgreens until January in NYC. It is very hard to find, and if you come across these, do pick up all of them because they are really great baked mineral wet/dry eyeshadow dupes for high end brands as well as the Sephora collection baked palettes($28 each with 10 shadows)
The eyeliners are small but not so bad. They are creamy but just standard wet n' wild liners, and cannot be compared to Urban Decay liners which are super creamy. However, these liners that came with the Wet n' Wild palettes are nice. Especially the black one with silver glitters, but do not use it near your waterline if you have sensitive eyes.
The shadows are beautiful and super pigmented! I applied these wet with a regular fluffy eyeshadow brush which is not a good idea. I suggest using a flat eyeshadow brush or synthetic brush when applied wet, and use fluffy brush or blending brush when applied dry. Either way, these came out great without any base applied underneath. I am sure they will look even better with a base. I personally think these are better than the Milani baked eyeshadows though each shadow is relatively smaller than the Milani one. These eyeshadows are about the size of a dime, but little goes a long way since the pigmentation is amazing that you do not need to apply layers of color. I highly recommended these if you ever seen one. I got them because I saw Grace from Cosmeticcouturier did swatches and tutorials on Youtube and Facebook. Follow/subscribe her for the gorgeous looks that she created using these palettes:)

Wet n' Wild mega lipsticks

Retail at Duane Reade: $1.99

swatches from top to bottom: Bare it all, Just Peachy, Cherry Bomb, Ravin' Raisin
These are super pigmented!Matte finish, and very creamy. Feels a bit thick when applied, but staying power is pretty long. Many more shades ranging from nude to peach, pink, plum, red, burgundy, and even a deep purple that looks almost black. Highly recommend this if you are into creamy matte lipsticks!
